Serving on juries and committees for cultural organizations, project management, or serving on a board of directors
I have been involved in the management of cultural institutions since 1992 and now have experience from both an operational and a strategic perspective. Today, I draw on the experience I have gained over the years for project management assignments and board work.
Three Key Areas
Evaluating and Cataloging Art Collections
I provide recommendations to municipalities and private individuals on the preservation, restoration, and storage of art collections, and I compile an inventory to serve as a basis for insurance, maintenance, and decision-making.
Jury and Committee Work
I am currently on the board of the international comic festival Fumetto in Lucerne and the Winterthur Short Film Festival. However, I also serve on the board of the professional association VKKS (2010–2019), as well as in committees such as the Swiss Design Commission (2001–2007) and the Art Grant Commission of the City of Basel (2000–2004). Other important jury experiences for me included Anibar in Kosovo (2019), New Chitose Airport International Animation Festival in Sapporo, Japan (2018), the Annecy International Animation Film Festival France (2014), and many more.
Project Management
Since 2020, I have been overseeing the mentoring program of the Swiss Professional Association of Art Historians (VKKS) and match between 20 and 50 mentoring pairs each year.
Another inspiring project management assignment was, for example, the exhibitionand publication project"unleashed" in collaboration with the FHNW at the Museum Tinguely in 2024.
